Welcome to Sparkle’s Home, a private initiative dedicated to the rescue, care, and rehoming of abandoned, neglected, and abused cats and dogs. These Terms and Conditions govern your engagement with us—whether you are adopting, sponsoring, or donating.

1. General Overview

Sparkle’s Home is not a large organization. It is run by a small team of committed individuals, with daily operations supported by volunteers and limited financial resources. The primary goal is to provide a safe haven and future for rescued animals through adoption, care, and community support.

2. Adoptions

By applying to adopt a pet from Sparkle’s Home, you agree to the following:

2.1 Eligibility: You must be 18 years or older and capable of providing a safe, stable, and loving environment for the pet.

2.2 Application: All potential adopters must complete an adoption form, submit a valid ID, and undergo an interview process to assess their capability and willingness to care for an animal.

2.3 Home Check: At the discretion of the founder or her team, a discreet home check or neighborhood visit may be conducted to verify the safety of the adopter's residence.

2.4 Return Policy: If the adopter is no longer able to care for the animal, they must return it to Sparkle’s Home. Abandonment or mistreatment will not be tolerated and may result in legal action.

2.5 Breed Bias & Equal Opportunity: While animals with breed may attract more interest, all rescues—regardless of appearance—deserve equal compassion. We do not charge adoption fees but appreciate voluntary donations.

3. Sponsorships

You may sponsor a specific pet or contribute generally. By sponsoring, you acknowledge and agree that:

3.1 Use of Funds: Sponsorship funds are primarily used for food, medical care (e.g., spaying/neutering), shelter improvements, and rescue operations.

3.2 Type of Sponsorship: Sponsors can choose between one-time or recurring sponsorships for individual animals.

3.3 Updates: While we do our best to provide updates, we cannot always guarantee regular check-ins due to limited staff capacity.

3.4 Tracking: All sponsorships are manually tracked by the admin team using GCASH or bank records. Please indicate the purpose of your donation when sending support.

4. Donations

We accept both monetary and in-kind donations (e.g., food, medicine, supplies). Donors agree to the following:

4.1 Transparency: Sparkle’s Home commits to using donations solely for the benefit of the animals in care. However, due to the informal nature of our current operations, detailed financial breakdowns may not always be available.

4.2 Receipts: We acknowledge all donations received through GCASH, bank transfers, or physical drop-offs when contact details are provided.

4.3 No Refunds: Donations are non-refundable.

5. Security and Privacy

5.1 Personal Data: We collect minimal personal information for adoption and sponsorship processes. All collected data will be treated with confidentiality and stored securely.

5.2 Fraud and Scams: Sparkle’s Home will never request your OTP or personal banking credentials. Please be vigilant and report any suspicious activity.

5.3 Platform Limitations: While we aim to implement a more secure system through a future foundation, current operations are managed manually. Users are advised to avoid clicking unknown links and practice digital safety.

6. Limitations

Due to physical, financial, and emotional capacity:

Sparkle’s Home cannot accept unlimited animal surrenders.
Space is limited, and rescues are prioritized based on urgency and ability to provide proper care.
Only animals that can be properly housed, fed, and cared for will be accepted.

7. Rights Reserved

Sparkle’s Home reserves the right to:

Decline any adoption if deemed unfit.
Suspend sponsorships found to be fraudulent or insincere.
Modify terms and processes as needed, especially once the formal foundation is established.

Sparkle’s Home was built from a place of personal transformation, compassion, and resilience. Your support, whether through adoption, sponsorship, or donation, helps us sustain the lives of voiceless animals who deserve a second chance. We ask for your understanding, empathy, and respect in all interactions.
